Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data the FitBuddy app (operated by Fit.Physio.Katrin) processes.

Data we process

• Account: email address, name.
• Profile / health metrics: gender, height, weight, birth year — used to compute age and basal metabolic rate (BMR).
• Workout & nutrition logs: your progress and logged meals.
• Meal photos: if you take a photo for automatic nutrition analysis, it is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing.
• Community content: your posts, comments and likes within your group.
• Device token: to deliver push notifications.

Purposes

Delivering the program (workouts, nutrition, community), progress tracking, notifications, and automatic nutrition recognition.

Sharing

Meal photos are sent to OpenAI for analysis. We use hosting and email providers to operate the service. We do not sell data and use no advertising or tracking networks.

Your rights

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app under “Delete account” (see Delete account). You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and data portability.
